tinny: Zhu Yilong looking lazily at the camera, with brown noisy grunge, and a diamond symbol in the middle (zyl_grunge diamond)

Says a lot that I managed to do one monthly review post at an appropriate time before crashing and burning.

Ha! <3 people wise in social media say it's better to make many small posts than one big one. I just can't do that somehow, so I just make few long aggregation posts and am happy I post anything at all. :) But if waiting until the end of the month isn't good for you, maybe just making smaller posts works better? (I find Hils's tv show and movie roundup posts a very good solution. They're short but good, and they have a routine to them.)

Drum Youth, which is Zhu Yilong's first movie (? possibly? He's very baby-faced anyway) and pretty decent, though I don't much care for high school settings.

It's not his first, I think? But one of the first, definitely. I still haven't watched it! /o\ I also don't really feel drawn to the subject matter, so it's been languishing for a long time.

Here's to hoping April is a better month overall.

YES!
