Oh nice! I think the series holds up pretty well compared to some of the stuff from that time, but then I do have a definite nostalgia lens for it. I imprinted hard on Alanna when I first read it, uh, twenty years ago? Something like that. Anyway, it's a comfort read for me, and there's also quite a lot of excellent fic.
