15 Characters Meme

trobadora's and it looks like light fun, so I thought I'd give it a go if anyone wants to play:
1) Make a list of fifteen characters first, and keep it to yourself for the moment.
2) Ask your f-list to post questions in the comments. For example: "One, nine, and fifteen are chosen by a prophecy to save the world from four. Do they succeed?", "Under what circumstances might five and fourteen fall in love?", "Which character on the list would you most want on your side in a zombie invasion?"
3) After your f-list has stopped asking questions, round them up and answer them using the fifteen characters you selected beforehand, then post them.
Any combinations as detailed or general as you want are welcome!
(I also still owe a February review post and soon a March one - time, what are you doing to me)

If I were stuck in an elevator with Wu Xie, my first reaction would be 'oh dear' because trouble follows that man like a barnacle and I'm probably about to become collateral damage as he gets kidnapped or menaced or improbably sucked into a tomb beneath the elevator building. That said, it's equally likely Xiaoge and Pangzi are going to turn up to rescue Wu Xie from the elevator, rescuing me as well in the process. Either way, I'd probably do nothing and let Wu Xie figure out how to get us unstuck. He'd need the puzzle to keep himself busy.

2, 7, and 9 walk into a bar. Moments later, the bar is on fire. What happened? Who runs?

Zhao Yunlan, Shen Wei and Spock walk into a bar. Moments later, the bar is on fire. A rogue Dixingren was trying to have a drink after a near miss with Heipaoshi and didn't expect him and the Lord Guardian to turn up at the bar. Nobody runs - Shen Wei puts out the fire with his powers, Zhao Yunlan is trying to arrest the Dixingren and Spock sits down in a corner Not Getting Involved because of the prime directive.
Aragorn and Da Qing are making out. It's very OMGno because Da Qing doesn't do sex in my head. It's also very awkward because Aragorn is a couple of heads taller than him, and Da Qing reminds him of hobbits.

Obi-Wan Kenobi and Finrod grew up as best childhood friends. Finrod moved away to a different continent because most of his family was going (due to some kind of spat with the local authorities). They did keep in touch! Finrod has to send all his rambling letters about the local culture to someone, after all.

One, seven, eight, and fifteen are now employed at your workplace (or at a workplace AU of your choice if you'd rather not get into the specifics of your own). What kind of jobs do they have, and what could go wrong (or right)?

Of Zhao Yunlan, Alanna the Lioness and Xiaoge, technically Xiaoge can eat the spiciest food, but he doesn't like to. Alanna does, and has good tolerance since her stay with the Bazhir. Zhao Yunlan thinks it's him, but his stomach troubles beg to differ.
Aragorn, Shen Wei, Finrod and Pangzi are now employed by a university. Old hat for Shen Wei, Finrod is delighted and immediately designs a whole new lecture course, Aragorn technically teaches in the geography department, but in practice spends most of his time in the arboretum avoiding student questions, and Pangzi is doing an interdisciplinary course on food culture that involves practical elements (it's very popular, until he mysteriously disappears while on a trip with his best friends). Honestly, it's all going pretty right - I'd happily have any of these guys as teachers.

Oh dear, yes. They'd be urban/campus legends in no time. Just imagine poor Shen Wei having to wrangle a) his own students, b) Zhao Yunlan and the SID and c) the Iron Triangle. He'd be exhausted (and his secret identity would probably be exposed in minutes)

All right, I'm... fucking Luo Fusheng (because have you looked at that face and his general everything? I don't even go here and I can still see the appeal), marrying Finrod (because he's a sweet all-rounder) and, with a very heavy heart, killing Zhao Yunlan. Sorry, ZYL 😅 (at least I'm fitting right into the theme of that minific XD)
Gandalf probably likes bears better than Alanna the Lioness. She already has a thing about her small stature and bears are huge. Also, Gandalf gets on well enough with Beorn, so that's proof right there :D

I don't want to, you forced this choice 😠But like, if you had witnessed GYADL doing Luo Fusheng so so dirty you couldn't bring yourself to kill him either, and Finrod is one of my original blorbos (I do also maintain that Zhao Yunlan is husband material only if you're Shen Wei - much as I love him, I think it would probably drive me insane to live with him XD)

Uhhh, maybe? He doesn't use a bat at any point, I don't think, but he does beat people up with a machete a couple of times. (I'm just failing to conceptualise this because while he does beat people up he's also the softest lil dude at the same time? Idk, Z1L contains multitudes, as usual). Vidders and giffers for this show do seem to have a preference for the action scenes, not that I blame them ;)
Having now taken the excuse to rewatch the better Fusheng vids out there, may I offer (titles mine, not the song's):

Those certainly make the show look interesting! Z1L looks lovely, as usual, although when he breaks out the Ye Zun facial expressions you just know someone's in trouble! :D
